HOME HOME HOME!!

WE ARE HOME!! So, i've been bad (slacking) the last week or two, but we are HOME!! It is the most amazing feeling! We just keep pinching ourselves and are just so happy! We also had our first pediatrician appointment today and it went great. He was so impressed with them. They are just now almost 39 weeks gestational age, these girls could have still been inside,..wild! But, Logan is 7lb 10oz and Zoe is 6lb 11oz. The doctor was so happy with their growth. It was great! Here are some last days at the hospital and coming home pics! The girls also had their first night outside and some fun relaxing on the couch!

April 21st

Happy Birthday Aunt Stephanie!

Zoe has broken 6lbs! She is almost 6lb, 3oz and Logan is 6lb 13oz! They are growing machines! We do have tons of pictures that are on the way, they are slow uploading here at the hospital.......the anticipation builds!

Logan was released, Zoe is almost there! Our fingers are crossed, but she did just pass her carseat test (they have to sit in there carseat for 1 hour and not set off an alarm to make sure they can handle it) and she did great! Almost there.....

April 16th Update!

The Nursery and Rec Room are done!

(thank you Uncle Trevor for our sign,...it's awesome!)

So, we have had some big things going on here! Easter came and the girls put on some adorable dresses (thanks TB!) and we took tons of fun pictures. Nina came to see them, then Gram and Grandpa and GG all came too (you'll have to figure out all of the lingo to keep up! ha) and this weekend Nana and Bapa will be coming in town.

Big news on the hospital front, Logan is now over 6lbs 6ozs and Zoe is over 5lbs 11ozs so they are growing! Also, Logan was officially discharged on April 15th, she is free as a bird! But, we are just now "living in" here at the hospital with her until Zoe goes home. Seems to be the easier way to go with Zoe still being here. Zoe is doing well, we are just waiting for her to have her 5 days incident free so we can take them both home. We don't want her to rush it thought, we want her to be ready so there are no worries. We already stayed up all night last night checking Logan 80 times b/c she was off the monitor for the first time. Ha! Okay, more to come!

April 9th Update

Miss Zoe hanging out

Logan w/no tubes, in the swing and over 6lbs! Zoe breaking 5lbs and 5 8oz tonight!

Hey hey hey! So tonight Logan broke 6lbs! She is officially 6lbs 1oz! Zoe is workin' it too at 5lbs 8oz! Zoe is off the pump that was making her food go in slower to help with reflux, so she is just breastfeeding all day like Logan and hopefully we'll be trying the bottle soon too and then it might be time for Ferris and I to just feed them exclusively soon! That will be a good day. Zoe has had a couple of alarms (she averages just about 1 a day now) so that is great, they are both doing amazing. They have a bouncer now that Zoe sits in a lot for to help her sit up a little after eating and Logan sat in it today too. Logan pulled out her nasal tube and so we have pictures from her all "tube-free" all day today! They are just so cute!

April 7th Update

Hey everyone! I think it is becoming obvious that I am not very good at updating this bad boy! Ha! But, here is the update for this week:

Logan last night weighed 5lb 14.5oz and Zoe was 5lb 4.5oz so these girls are growing fast! Both are doing great at breastfeeding, but they only do that about half the time (they use lots of calories when they do so we try to give them time to just sleep and grow too!) and Logan just started using a bottle to supplement too (which is great b/c now dad can help and she is that much closer to losing her NG tube!) Zoe is doing really well, she is figuring out how to deal with her reflux, cutting down on her alarms a ton as she gets bigger and soon she'll hopefully get to try the bottle too! So exciting! Zoe started sitting in a swing this week to sit up more and battle the reflux and though she looks tiny in it, it works great. Time seems to go so slow here though, we can't wait for them to come home but want them to be ready to go for sure before they do. We finally got our armoire and dresser for the nursery and now Ferris just has to put up all of the wall hangings (fun times for him!) Pictures of that to come I'm sure!

April 2nd Update!

Tuesday, March 31st: Miss Logan weighing in at 5lb 8oz (oh yeah) and Miss Zoe in the opposite corner is weighing in at 5lbs oz.......growin' girls ! They were both in the same crib for the last few days but we just moved them to individual bassinets right next to each other (so cute!) so Zoe could be elevated a little (a case of reflux so it helps a lot) so they are hanging out, getting re-acquainted. It's so nice to have them together in the same room/bed/whatever! They also received their first baths yesterday! Uncle Chris came this past weekend and Aunt Stephanie has been here on Spring Break...girls gone wild! Last week Deb, Dad and Great Grandma (G.G.) came too! Here are some pictures!
