They're Here!

32 weeks, 1 day and Logan Callie Ferris (17 1/2 inches long and 4lbs 40z) and Zoe Kathleen (17 inches long and 3lb 15oz) are here! They were ready to come so here they are! (okay, Logan was ready so Zoe was along for the ride!) We had a "rushed" c-section early Friday morning after trying to wait to see if we could hold out a few more weeks on berest after my water broke on Thursday am. Logan said, "no way, let's go!"

They are doing great, so cute (true words of a mother, of course I think so!) breathing, eating and digesting well in the NICU. They can be there anywhere from 10 days until their term so we'll see how they progress. So far they are both doing amazing.

This is just the coolest experience, and it is so fun to look over and see Todd holding one of our girls. We had a long "adventure" getting here, lots of tears, prayers, hard work, determination and LOTS of support from our families, and these girls are worth every bit of it. I cry everytime I think of all of the phone calls where the answer was "I'm sorry, you're not pregnant" and then look at these two and hold them. Pinch me, it's real!
So here are some pictures from their birth to day 4 and you can already see how fast they change, wow!
